Arctic Evening Husky Sledding

Discover the thrill of mushing a team of Siberian huskies in the darkness, where the only light is the moon, your headtorch and if you are lucky, the beautiful Lady Aurora dancing above your head.

Season: 01 November – 31 March (start of sledding season may be delayed due to weather and snow condition)
Availability: Monday – Sunday
Location: Ottemoen 73, Senja
Starting time: 16:20 (meeting time is approx. 10 minutes before to get dressed)
Duration: 4 hours (sledding trip lasts 1 - 1,5 hours, weather and condition dependant)
Participants: 2 – 8 (bigger groups on request)
Price: from 1.500 NOK

Booking must be done a minimum of 24 hours before the trip.

On this magical experience, you get to mush your own team of adorable huskies and witness a starry sky, the enchanting moonlight and if you are lucky, the mysterious phenomenon aurora borealis.
(The aurora borealis is a natural phenomenon, and there is no guarantee seeing it.)

Your local guide will lead you through the winter wonderland of frozen lakes, forests and majestic mountains. Warm boots and winter clothes will keep you warm for the time of the dog sled ride.

After an unforgettable trip, enjoy a cup of hot coffee and some cookies around the fire.

The arctic evening husky sledding trip is not suitable for children under the age of 14 due to the trips being strainous, safety issues, cold temperatures and the fact that you are responsible for your dogteam.
